Students created their own Ancient Civilization by trying to Empathize with ancient people to determine what was needed and most essential for survival. After students created their own civilization, they were tasked with creating a tool in the design lab that would assist them in their ancient civilization. A tool is something that makes your task easier to accomplish, ultimately trying to make your job easier. After students created their tool in the design lab, they made a commercial advertising the uses of their creation as well as the need it would help with.
