Mrs. Story's ED 220 Dual Credit class The Learning Community created a posters for their peers in the high school to be informed on the differences of Growth and Fixed Mindest. Examples include the power in a Growth Mindest and encouragement for students as they learn and grow and make tough decisions throughout their teenage years.
Educators Rising is a national club for students interested in the teaching profession. Students in Mrs. Story's dual credit classes compete on a state level each spring, but anyone in the school can join and participate in our club at LCHS. Students help create a positive learning climate at LCHS and celebrate the hard work of teachers, students, and staff throughout the school year.

An agricultural education program is made up of three integrated parts: Classroom instruction, FFA and Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). Students with an SAE learn by doing. With help from their agricultural teachers, students develop an SAE project based on one or more SAE categories. The four categories are 1) Entrepreneurship 2) Placement 3) Research & Experimentation 4) Exploratory. Agriculture teachers take time throughout the year to visit students and see their projects as well as offer guidance or help with any problems/challeneges that may arise.
