Steps to Begin Your Application

1. Read "NextGen Policies and Procedures"

2. Begin your application

   • Your parent/guardian should be present with you while you complete this application.

   • It will be helpful to have the name, phone number and e-mail address for three personal references prior to beginning this application. Please use one relative that does not live in your household, one non-relative, and If possible, use a member of Life Community Church as one of these references. Once the application is started it must be completed in its entirety. Partially completed applications cannot be saved. Please allow approximately 30 minutes.

Steps for parents/guardians to complete

1. Be present while your child is completing their online application

2. Read and review “Children and Youth Protection Policy” with your child

   • We intentionally left out this portion from the policies and procedures we asked your child to review on their own because much of the information requires the careful guidance of a parent. Please review what’s contained within the policy in a way that is appropriate for your child.

3. Other things to know:

1. • Anyone in grades 7 – 11 who begins serving is required to serve with either a parent or a mentor. After two years of serving with a parent or mentor, and with the recommendation of their mentor, parent, and the NextGen team, we can discuss your child serving on their own.
