The core of this Erasmus+ project activity is a cultural and literary comparison between selected Spanish and Italian poems from the 19th century. Students will explore and analyze works by renowned poets from both countries, focusing on themes, styles, and emotional expression characteristic of that historical period.

The aim of the activity is to encourage students to engage in a personal and creative interpretation of the chosen poems. This will culminate in the creation of original, hand-crafted works in the form of artistic collages. These visual pieces will be designed to reflect the students’ individual perspectives and emotional responses to the poetry they have studied, merging literary analysis with artistic expression.

As a celebration of their work and cultural exchange, the project will conclude with a final event: an exhibition hosted at the I.E.S. La Laboral de La Laguna school. During this event, the students’ collage artworks will be displayed in a dedicated gallery-style setting. The exhibition will be open to the entire school community and will welcome Spanish families, students, and teachers alike, creating an opportunity to share and appreciate the collaborative and intercultural efforts of the participants.

This final showcase aims not only to present the results of the students’ learning journey but also to foster dialogue, connection, and mutual appreciation between the Italian and Spanish school communities involved in the Erasmus+ project.
