We believe the mental and emotional health of students is critical to their learning. Our students and their families have access to school counselors and school-based mental health professionals during the school day as well as partnerships and resources for support outside the school day.
What is TCHATT?
Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) provides telemedicine or telehealth programs to school districts to help identify and assess the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents and provide access to mental health services.
LHISD utilizes TCHATT through the School Counseling Program to provide identified students with mental health support via a telehealth platform.
For more information about TCHATT you can visit their website or reach out to your child's School Counselor.
