“The One and Only Ivan”!

We are excited to announce that we have finished our reading of Katherine Applegate’s “The One and Only Ivan”!

On Friday, March 8, 2024, we will be hosting a screening of the movie where we will enjoy some of Ivan’s favorite snacks, yogurt covered raisins and bananas, as we watch the adventure unfold.

This film is rated PG!

If for any reason you have concerns about your child viewing this movie, please let me know as soon as possible. We will make other arrangements for your child during that time!

Our Panther Academy classes are open for registration.  Below you can find a link to register and some information on each of the classes.  Here are a few of our offerings:

If your child loves to dance, SHiNE Dance Fitness is a class based in jazz, ballet, and hip-hop.  We will use a clean playlist of music and learn a warm-up, several fun songs of choreography in a HIIT-style workout, and leave all our worries on the dance floor!  Mrs. Poulter is a certified SHiNE Dance Fitness instructor and can't wait to dance with you!

Registration Link - This link is a little easier to see on a desktop.  The classes are listed by category and you can find the different categories on the left hand side.

We would like to invite you to present at our 2024 Career Day at Bill Burden Elementary. We know how valuable your time is, and we would love it if you could spend a few hours with our students and share a little about your career.

BBE Attendance Reminders

Regular school attendance is essential. Absences from class may result in serious disruption of a student’s education. The student and parent should avoid unnecessary absences.

A parent must provide an explanation for any absence upon the student’s arrival or return to school. The student must submit a note signed by the parent or complete Burden's Online Attendance Form. The campus will document in its attendance records whether the absence is excused or unexcused.
