學科目標 Subject Aims
幫助學生正面認識自己,提升能力以應付日常和未來的挑戰,把握機遇,並追求目標及實踐抱負;
to help students develop a positive self-understanding, enhance competence to meet daily and future challenges, seize opportunities, as well as pursue their goals and realise their aspirations;
培育學生成為有識見及負責任的公民,尊重法治、認同國民身份,並為社會和國家的福祉作出貢獻;
to nurture students to become informed and responsible citizens who respect the rule of law, have a sense of national identity, and contribute to the common good of society and our country;
加強學生對國家和本地的經濟和社會事務的認識, 培養家國情懷;
to strengthen students' understanding of national and local economic and social affairs, and nurture their sense of national identity;
幫助學生了解國家, 加強國家觀念和對國家的歸屬感; 以及
to promote students' understanding of our country and strengthen their sense of national identity and sense of belonging towards our country; and
培養學生對本地、國家及當代世界的課題的關注,明白我國及其他國家如何透過合作共同應對全球性問題, 拓闊世界視野。

學生可透過研習本科,獲得個人、社會及人文教育相關知識、能力及培養正確價值觀和積極正面態度,為高中學習奠定堅實的基礎。
Through the study this subject, students can acquire knowledge and skills, and cultivate proper values as well as active and positive attitudes related to personal, social and humanities education to establish a solid foundation for their study at the senior secondary level.

Establishing harmonious interpersonal relationships with family members, friends and people of different backgrounds.

Essence of love and its relationship with sex.

影響運用個人資源的主要因素。
Major factors affecting the use of personal resources.
香港的經濟表現、勞工的就業情況,以及香港特別行政區政府在經濟方面的角色和政策。
Economic performance of Hong Kong, employment situation of labour, and the role and policy of the HKSAR Government on the economic front.
國家經濟的概況、促進其經濟發展的因素,以及香港與內地緊密的經濟關係。
Overview of the economy of our country and factors facilitating its economic development, and Hong Kong’s close economic relationship with the Mainland.

Social Systems and Citizenship

Our country’s political structure, our country’s participation in international affairs, the way of life of Chinese nationals, and the awareness and quality of Chinese citizenship.
