West Midlands EdTech Hub Teach Meet

Join the RGS Worcester Family of Schools on May 25th to connect, learn and share about all things EdTech.
From 5:30pm to 7pm, educators will have the opportunity to present or simply attend and learn from teachers across Worcestershire and beyond.
The Teach Meet is free, guaranteed to be fun, refreshments will be provided and we look forward to hearing how digital technology is making a meaningful difference in our schools.
Hampshire EdTech Hub Foundation Subjects Study Tour

10:30 - 11:00 Arrival Introduction
11.00 - 12.00 - Tours will be led by our Y5 and Y6 Digital Leaders and staff and will share examples of how they have used EdTech to encourage and empower their learning in History and Geography and across other foundation subjects.
1.15 - 2.00 – Expert panel discussion chaired by Ty Goddard will feature:

Opportunity for visitors to talk to members of the Hampshire EdTech Hub and other leaders from the programme including Dr Fiona Aubrey-Smith and Bob Usher (LGfL)

Literacy Study Tour
@ Kings Cross Academy

12:30 - 1:00 - Lunch & Arrival
1:00 - 1:15 - Welcome & Meet the lead practitioners from King's Cross Academy and EdTech Hubs. Attendees to share who they are and what they hope to get out of the event
1:15 - 2:15 - Visit classrooms to see how effective pedagogy and well-chosen technology can enhance the impact of Literacy across the curriculum. Splitting into small groups, each led by a member of King's Cross Academy, visiting a range of classrooms. The timetable had been adapted for the day so that all classes we visit will be doing Literacy at this time.
2:15 - 2:45 - Attendees joined by teachers and select pupils from across the academy to discuss approaches seen on the tour and speak more widely about the use of EdTech in the school. The pupils will bring their books and Chromebooks and split up across a number of tables allowing attendees to wander around and talk to them and teachers.
2:45 - 3:15 - Panel discussion followed by Q&A - Chaired by Ty Goddard of EdTech

Inclusion Study Tour
@ Whitefield Primary School - Liverpool

Whitefield Primary School (Liverpool) will host a study tour on the theme of inclusion: Removing barriers to learning.
1:30 - 2pm - Arrival - Cake and drinks and Welcome (Meet the lead practitioners from Whitefield PS and EdTech Hubs. Quick intro from attendees - who they are and what they hope to get out of the event)
2:00 - 3:00 - Visit classrooms to see how effective pedagogy and well-chosen technology can enhance the impact of Inclusion across school.
3:00 - 3:30 - Attendees joined by teachers and pupils to discuss approaches seen on the tour and speak more widely about the use of EdTech in the school.
3:30 - 4:15 - Panel discussion followed by Q&A
