EdTech EXPO with LEO Academy Trust

Changing Learning Together: an immersive day of EdTech experiences alongside teachers & leaders from lead schools from the EdTech Hubs programme.

About the event:

• Meet Senior Leaders and expert practitioners from the EdTech Hubs programme as they share their experiences of  the effective use of Education Technology to support high-quality inclusive teaching and learning.
  
  

• Experience a ‘live classroom’ demonstration to explore the pedagogy behind the effective use of EdTech, visit classrooms to see EdTech in action, meet pupils showcasing their use of EdTech and have hands-on time with the latest immersive and creative technologies.

Programme on the day will include:

• Stories of Success
  Case studies of the impact of effective use of Technology to support school improvement from across the EdTech Hubs programme through an interactive panel discussion and keynote presentation

• EdTech and School Improvement 

The latest research findings on the positive contribution technology can make in school improvement

• The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Education
  See how AI is used to reduce workload, improve teacher effectiveness and efficiency, and provide real-time feedback for learners from experts in the field.

• Live Classroom teaching demonstration

Watch a primary class teacher deliver a lesson using EdTech, narrated by a senior leader who will guide you through the lesson, exploring how technology is used, by both the teacher and their students, to enhance the quality of teaching & learning.

• Classroom Study Tours
  Spend an hour in classrooms, exploring the effective use of EdTech across the curriculum

• Immersive & Creative Education Technology Workshops
  Hands-on workshops to experience the latest immersive education technologies including: Augmented & Virtual Reality, podcasting & school radio, green screen video techniques to transport learners to different eras, locations & environments and developing creative digital media literacy across the curriculum.

  Meet learners from LEO Academy Trust and hear how they use EdTech to help them everyday in their learning activities.
