About Ms. Miller
This is my fifth year as a Speech-Language Pathologist and my fifth year with LFCS. In grad school, I worked several other places. I have worked with kids as young as 18 months to adults in their 90s.
I was born and raised in San Diego! I moved away for college but came back to the city I know best where all my family is!
I am getting married to my fiancé, Bryan, whenever this social distancing is done!
Fun facts
I love cooking, gardening, seeing live music, knitting, and seeing my family.
I'm a total nerd about the brain!
I studied French for many years and even lived in France.
About Mrs. Kim
This is my 14th year as an SLPA-(Speech Language and Pathologist Assistant) and my 6th year working with LFCS. During my 14 years I have worked with all ages from 18 months old through High School. I enjoy my job and working with kids and seeing them grow.
I was born in San Francisco, raised in Washington until the age of 13 and then moved to San Diego and been here ever since than.
I have been married for 36 years. I have two sons 27 and 30. I also have two cats and one dog.
I love to read, go on walks, cook and being with my family.
About Ms. Sam
This is my first year as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Literacy First Charter Schools. I have worked primarily with children from preschool age up to seniors in high school with various speech and language difficulties.
I am originally born and raised in Hawaii! Despite my "paradise" homeland, I moved to San Diego for college and fell in love with the city and its people. I won't be leaving San Diego anytime soon!
Linguistics is my passion; I could talk about the intricacies of language all day!
