God is Up to Something Big at LFCA

Testimonies about LFCA from our Lion families and alumni.

Our family has a deep-seated love for Little Flock Christian Academy (LFCA).  The school was a missing piece in our “life puzzle” that we did not know we were missing.  Our daughter started Kindergarten in the school year of 2022-2023 and before actual classes had even begun, we knew we had made the best decision for our family and that this school was going to be special.  How did we know, you might ask?  Well, once we were accepted, we enrolled our little one in Cross Country, which was her very first sport.  There was a total of five kindergarteners on the team!  Cross Country practice started during the summer right before the school year began.  Our family made very strong connections right out of the gate!  The coaches were tremendously welcoming.  There was encouragement, guidance, and love for each member of the team from the get-go.  The coaches, the other teammates, and the parents were all invested in each member of the team.  The sport allowed our daughter the opportunity to make some friends prior to the first day of school, which made things seem less intimidating for her.  My husband and I developed many connections with other parents as well.  Simply put, it was amazing to meet parents going through similar experiences during this phase of life.

I believe all things happen through Christ and finding LFCA was no accident. The timing was not accidental!  Looking back at our daughter’s first year at LFCA, it was like seeing light at the end of a tunnel for the first time in years.  Our family had endured many difficult challenges in the few years leading up to our daughter being of age to enroll her in kindergarten.  The aftermath of all those challenges had built up and our family, especially our soon-to-be kindergarten, felt the pressure.  The ability to have fellowship through the school and its extracurricular activities was God-sent!  The support and love provided by the many staff and other parents saved us and made our heavy hearts seem lighter.  Our family slowly started to be able to breathe.  My daughter was nurtured and began to flourish with the help of her teachers and friends.  There were things she got from this school that she could not get anywhere else!  There was structure, compassion, and tough love when it was needed.  There was learning.  Learning to love like Jesus, learning scripture, learning to read, learning to write, learning to count, and so much more.  There was laughter and fun.  The fun was even extended to the parents.  Parents are allowed to be highly involved!  The school giving us the opportunity to be involved and to see our kids blossom firsthand was priceless. I will never forget the moment we knew we were right where we needed to be. We will forever be grateful and are extremely happy to say we are a LFCA Lions family!  Our, now, first grader continues to grow as does our family.  She has two younger siblings, and we cannot wait to continue with this school.  We are excited to see how God uses the school and our family in the future.

If I'm being perfectly honest, there have been times I have wondered if we chose the right path for our kids by pursuing private school. It certainly is an added expense to our budget, but we are constantly reminded of the value of the Christ-centered education they are receiving. I got this email from Jaxton's teacher on Friday. He is in kindergarten. To say it filled my heart with joy and my eyes with tears would not paint an accurate picture of the emotion I had been overcome with. Parents. if you are considering Christian education for your child, please know the value goes far beyond smaller classrooms and more discipline. To know that my babies are constantly being filled with the word of God is priceless.

From his teacher: I just wanted to let you know that Jaxton just told me that he asked Jesus in his heart one day in the classroom. He also said that he asked Jesus to forgive him of his sins each time he did something wrong. I told him he should probably go home and talk to you about all this.

I still say this school was the best thing I did for my kids! They both are still friends with most of their LFCA friends all these years later. This school really is one giant family.

One of the best things to come out of our 9 years of private school...this LFCA family!! Tonight was the Fall Festival and these guys went back to help out tonight and work, and I'm sure have some fun too.

As of 11/1/2023, Nevaeh Botner asked  Jesus Christ into her life because the school presents the gospel & the truth.

The teachers are helpful, kind, & passionate about teaching the kids. Both of my girls attend this school & both are thriving in their walk with Christ & their skills for everyday life.             ~ Jessica Botner

LFCA has been such a blessing to me! I love how the teachers love my daughter and treat her like their own. They all call her by name!! No one is a number they are a person!! God moves in LFCA daily!                    ~ Faith Yount

I teach at Little Flock Christian Academy and absolutely love it. Our school offers smaller class sizes, a safe, Christ-centered environment, enrichment and related arts classes, and advanced academics. Children are held to high standards behaviorally and academically. We are blessed with wonderful facilities and enjoy several special events each year with high levels of parent involvement such as Art Festival (like a fall field day with art-themed activities), class parties, Race for Education, and field day. If you have any questions, please PM me or feel free to tag me in a comment with the question. You can also call the school and Mrs. Laura in the office will answer any questions and can schedule a tour if you are interested. I will recommend putting him in the Little Flock Preschool if you are interested in sending him to LFCA as kindergarten classes usually fill up FAST and those who are in the preschool are able to register before the general public.

I also want to say that I don’t just recommend it because I work there, I work there because it is someplace worth recommending and I honestly love our school so much.
