Meet Ms. Shobert!

My name is Ms. Shobert and this will be my second year at CIS in 5th grade. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and endorsements in Gifted and Talented and Read to Succeed. I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade because they are so passionate about the things they care about. It is a time when they really start to develop their personalities and grow as readers and writers. I am excited to learn and grow together! In my free time, I like to spend time with my friends and family, play games with friends, read, go on walks, and cook new recipes. I am looking forward to an awesome year in 5th grade!

Each day, students should have the following supplies readily available:

1 - Earbuds / Headphones
1 - 3 Subject Spiral Notebook (for social studies)
2 - Composition Notebooks (for reading and writing)
2 - Plastic Folders with pockets (one for writing drafts and one for organizing graded work / unfinished work)
CHARGED Chromebook
Pencil pouch with glue sticks, pencils, coloring pencils, scissors
