My name is Claire Rhodes and I am entering my 23rd year of teaching. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a major in Elementary Education. I received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Winthrop University. After teaching second grade and first grade for 10 years, I transitioned into the role of reading interventionist. I enjoy loving and growing readers each day. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks, and going camping. My husband (Michael) and I live in Irmo. Our two boys, Carter (9) and Ethan (8), are proud students in Lexington Richland School District 5.
