Here's a little info about me! I attended the College of Charleston and received a Bachelors of Science in Sociology. I also attended The Citadel and received an MAE in Social Sciences. Finally, I attended SCSU where I received an MAT in Elementary Education. I taught 9 years in Lexington School District #2 in grades 3rd, 4th, 5th, and reading intervention. This is my 8th year at DFES as a reading interventionist. I love working as a book club teacher and encouraging young readers. During the summer, I work part time as a Critter Camp counselor at Saluda Shoals Park. I'm an avid runner and love the outdoors! I'm married with two children. My son is a a freshman at Clemson University and my daughter is a sophomore at Chapin High School.
