Social Studies 

I am so excited to be teaching 7th grade World Geography again this year! I have been teaching at CMS since 2020. I previously taught 6th grade social studies and language arts in Lexington District Two for 7 years. I graduated from Columbia College in 2013 with a degree in Middle Level Education, and I earned my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in 2016. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Luke, and our daughter, Dallas. We also have a fur baby named Finn who goes everywhere with us! I also enjoy reading and spending time on Lake Murray. 

Middle school is the best age group to teach, and I am thrilled to get to know my students. It's going to be a great year!
