Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so excited for this school year and can’t wait to be your teacher. We will have so much fun this year. You will learn a lot of new things like how to use strategies to help you with adding, subtracting, reading, writing, and problem solving. At Leaphart we focus on STEAM throughout content areas. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math. We will complete different design challenges throughout the school year. I can't wait to see what you create!

Hello, my name is Mrs. Howell. This is my 16th year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten, second grade, and first grade. First grade is my favorite!
I am from Tennessee and love football. I have a sweet puppy named Charlie who loves to play and go for walks. I also am married and my husband's name is Andrew. We are expecting our first child in September. We are so excited for our sweet baby boy's arrival.
