Hello! I'm Keri McComas, and I love learning and growing with my students! I began my early childhood education journey working in childcare, taking care of my church nursery, volunteering at Oklahoma Children's Hospital, and teaching English at an international summer camp in China. I received my Bachelor's Degree Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University, with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. My first year in public schools, I taught 1st grade, then taught 3 years of 5K. I was selected as Teacher of the Year by my school in my 2nd year of teaching 5K. My family relocated from Oklahoma to South Carolina, where I started teaching 4K at DFES. I love reading, being outdoors, and watching Atlanta sports (Go Braves!).

About Mrs. Upton: I have been in education for 19 years. (13 public and 5 in a private setting) I am a graduate of Irmo High School and Columbia College with a Bachlor of Arts in Dance with an emphasis in teaching. Teaching young children has always been my passion. I have been a 4K teacher, a kindergarten assistant and a 4K assistant. In my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love the outdoors and love to travel.
