Math 7 and Math 7 Honors

My name is Jane Powell and I am thrilled to be at CMS.  I am originally from the Columbia/ Chapin area.  I returned with my family in 2019 after living away for 24 years.  I have spent most of my time (since earning my teaching degree in 1998) teaching in Louisiana and Florida.  I have taught a variety of Content Areas and have enjoyed helping my students feel successful in those areas.

My husband and I have 5 children.  I am also a proud Nana and a proud Army mom.  I love being outside and hiking when given the opportunity.  I believe each student is a Learner and a Gift and I look forward to what my students can learn from me and then what I can learn from them as well.   :)
