Hello fourth grade families!  I am Kathy Sweigart and this will be my fifth year at Irmo Elementary.  I am looking forward to a great year!  I   have been teaching for over 30 years from elementary to middle school level.  I have a Masters Degree in Education and an  endorsement for the gifted and talented.  My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and we have 3 beautiful children and several fur babies!  I love plants, flowers,  and have a collection of   orchids and African violets.  Our family spends time at the lake, beaches, and pool.  I enjoy fishing, fast cars,  history, and being an active member at church and  with the Capitol City Corvette Club.  Football season is starting up soon and my family and I will be cheering on the Gamecocks!
