I'm originally from Fort Mill, South Carolina but moved to Columbia to attend the University of South Carolina.  I met my husband in 2018 while in college and decided to stay!  We now have 2 daughters and 2 very energetic dogs. In my free time I like reading and taking our daughters to the zoo as often as possible.  I am currently serving as a Corpsman (medic) in the US Navy Reserves and I previously worked in family medicine as a registered medical assistant/scribe.

This will be my third year teaching at Irmo High School and I cannot wait! I love biology, but my real passion is the next generation. My door is always open to ANY student including past, present, and potential future!
