Hello all!  My name is Eric Weed.  I am a Chapin native and have lived in or around the area all of my life.  I graduated the University of South Carolina where I received my degree in English.  

I have been in the private sector for over sixteen years where I worked for companies that are world wide as well as local small businesses.  I hope to bring my years of real world expertise to the classroom as I teach 7th grade Language Arts.  I have always had a passion for teaching and training in every position that I have ever held.  

I am married and have four children of my own that attend schools in this district.  I hope that I am able to bring practical advice to my students while helping them grow to develop skills that will pay all of us with dividends in the future.  I am excited to have the opportunity to give our children roots and wings as we forge future leaders here at home!
