Mrs. Ellenwood
Room Number 9
Hello! My name is Allison Ellenwood, and I’m so excited to be part of this amazing school community. I began my teaching journey at Ballentine Elementary School, where I spent three wonderful years teaching in the Autism program. I then transitioned to second grade, which I taught for another three years. These experiences have deepened my commitment to fostering a classroom environment where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Criminology from North Carolina State University, and I hold a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina.
When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, Mark, our daughter, Naudiya, and our son, Noah. We enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s working in the yard or going for walks. I’m also a big sports fan—especially football and baseball—and I love cheering on the USC Gamecocks! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, photography, and creative writing.
