Ms. Smylie has been teaching Visual Arts in School District Five since 1995.  During her time with School District Five, she has served as a Visual Arts Content Specialist, a Department Chair, a Secondary Arts Leadership committee member, and a LeaD5 Activator for School District Five.  Ms. Smylie is a National Board Certified Teacher and is certified to teach K-12 Art and Psychology. In addition, Ms. Smylie is endorsed to teach Advanced Placement Studio Art and has completed Levels 1 and 2 training for International Baccalaureate Visual Arts.

Ms. Smylie is excited to be teaching Art 6, 7 & 8 in FIVE and watching her young artists grow!  They are truly inspiring!
