The timing couldn’t be better as we celebrate with our local home teams, New York Liberty, New York Mets, and New York Yankees winning seasons. We wish to extend a warm welcome to the athletes and coaches from American, Atlanta Area, Pennsylvania, Western Pennsylvania, New York-Fanwood, Marie Philip & Walden, and Ohio.
As an alumni and High School Athlete, it has been wonderful to be back “home” at Lexington. I am looking forward to Lexington hosting this wonderful tradition. We are certain you will enjoy spending a three-day weekend filled with competition, sportsmanship, camaraderie and most importantly: fun.
The Eastern Schools for the Deaf Athletic Association (ESDAA), established in 1927, is the oldest Deaf High School Athletic Association in the United States. Lexington was one of the founding members along with American, Fanwood, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, St. Joseph’s, and Virginia.
We are proud to have been a part of this almost century old organization for interscholastic competition. At Lexington, our core values are represented by the acronym SOAR - Safe, Open-minded, Accountable, and Respectful. In the spirit of SOAR, Enjoy the weekend with us and best wishes to all!
