Bienvenidos a la clase de español. What an amazing year is ahead of us! I hope that I will be able to share my enthusiasm for languages with you as we move toward proficiency in language and culture. In this class, students will be exposed to a variety of materials to help them achieve valuable skills in listening, reading, speaking and writing. We will be exploring different traditions, values and lifestyles of the diverse Hispanic world.

One of my main goals as a teacher is to make you feel comfortable using Spanish. Class will be conducted mainly in Spanish using visuals and gestures and you are expected to participate in daily conversation. You will be making a lot of mistakes, but making mistakes is part of learning a language! Even the most fluent speakers make mistakes!
