Design Your Own Book Cover
Design and draw the cover of a book about Nature. Focus on a topic about nature or the Earth that is important to you. Make sure you include the following elements in your drawing:
1. The title of the book2. The author’s name3. illustrator's name.

This week we’re going to play Library Bingo. Open the Bingo board for your grade level and see how you do. If you get Bingo in one row, try another - you can keep it going throughout our remote learning experience. There are options that do not require using additional technology, as well as options that ask you to explore some of our online resources.

K / 1 Activity - Rhyme Time!
Rhyming words have the same ending sound, like “cat” and “hat”. Rhyming words are the building blocks of some kinds of poetry (think of Dr. Seuss!) How many rhyming words can you find for these words? House Pig Yellow Cake

Read to a stuffed animal! Grab a book and some stuffed friends, and read to them! Can you read a whole book to your animal friends? Can you read to them for 10 minutes? Enjoy!
Call number order game.
Put all 8 call numbers in their correct alphabetical order to reveal the photo. Put the numbers 1 through 8 in their correct squares. Then start over! Let us know what you see!
