BioBuilder Club

The purpose of the BioBuilder club is to provide members with hands-on experience in utilizing biotechnology to design and develop solutions to real-world problems. Students will create projects with the help of a practicing bio-engineer who will assist in the design and development process through virtual mentoring. These projects will be presented at a Final Assembly event held at MIT, providing students with the opportunity to receive feedback from peers and professional scientists. Teams also have the opportunity to publish their work in BioTreks, a synthetic biology journal for high school students.
