What is the
Massachusetts Children’s Book Award (MCBA)?
It’s an optional reading challenge.
It’s a way to be part of a reading community that is centered around one common goal, to pick the best children's book in MA.
It’s a special program only open to Bridge 5th graders, sponsored by Salem State University.
It’s one of only a few state book award programs where only kids can vote for the winner!
