I grew up in Boston and moved to China when I was 24. I lived there for 7 years. I have a masters degree in China Studies from Valparaiso University and have done coursework at three universities in China. This is my 11th year at Diamond. When I am not teaching Chinese, I am a certified yoga teacher. I also sail and volunteer at two local farms. I have an 8th grade daughter named Maiya, and an awesome orange cat.
