School Librarian: Mrs. Brazell
Mrs. Brazell has worked in the Library at OGES for 16 years. She has a Master's Degree in Library Science from the University of SC and a Bachelor's Degree from Clemson University. She enjoys reading to students and helping them find that JUST RIGHT book to take home.
School Library Assistant: Mrs. Williams
After three years of substitute teaching at Oak Grove Elementary, Mrs. Williams is excited to be joining the library this year. She loves helping students discover the excitement of books, reading, and learning. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, plants and gardening, and reading books.

Our Library Schedule
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students visit the Library weekly for story time, lessons, and book check out.
Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades visit the Library for book check out every two weeks. They come for lessons periodically throughout the school year.

What is the RED: Read Every Day program at OGES?
This is a reading program designed to motivate our students to read. In order to do this, each student has a reading log in their RED: Read Every Day folder. Students read and log their reading every day. Parents initial reading logs for accountability. Students can earn prizes such as pencils, bookmarks, and FREE books for completing their reading logs.
