LMS School Counseling Program

The school counseling program at LMS is comprehensive and developmental. The goal is to operate with proactive and preventive measures. All students will receive school counseling instruction and services. The  program is based upon the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Program Model. This model addresses academic, career, and social/emotional development.  There are three school counselors at LMS.

The mission of Lakeside Middle School Counselors is to provide equitable access to a comprehensive, data driven program that advocates for ALL students to learn and achieve at high levels for long range results. Our mission supports the core standards of the American School Counselor Association national model, Lexington School District One, and Lakeside Middle School.
