Aerial Drones

Description: Fly drones and develop code for competitions across the United States. Aerial Drones is a branch of RECF, and a great way to demonstrate an interest in robotics. To participate, please print and fill out the Aerial Drone Club Contract (scan and fill out the interest form linked on the contract as well) and attend interest meetings and tryouts from August 11-September 8.

Description: To stimulate interest in the study of French, to reward scholastic achievement and create enthusiasm for an understanding of Francophone cultures. Students in Grades 10-12 and a 3.5 weighted GPA in French can participate. 15 service hours are required.

Description: The purpose of the National Honor Society is to elevate students' and schools' academics, leadership, and community engagement. Club requirements are 4.0 GPA and 20 hours of community service.

Description: Science Olympiad is a team STEM competition with 23 events covering numerous science and engineering fields - including: Biological Sciences, Earth and Space Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Technology and Inquiry.
SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Description: The mission of the group is to participate in local service projects related to Spanish through the school year. Each member will complete a minimum of 15 service hours related to Spanish. The club is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are currently enrolled in Spanish and have a 3.5 weighted GPA or higher in Spanish 3 or higher level Spanish.

Description: This club is a Theatre Honor Society. The mission of the International Thespian Society is to foster student’s love for all things theatre and to prepare for the state ITS competition. Students must be a member of this organization to attend the meetings. To get their Thespian membership, students earn points by participating in LHS and/or community theatre productions either on stage or backstage. These points must equal 100 hours of theatre work during your high school years.

TRI-M MUSIC HONOR SOCIETY

Description: This is a national honor society sponsored by the National Association for Music Education to inspire music participation, create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service and promote leadership in the music students of secondary schools.

Description: Discussion of the wildlife of our home state and region, the impact of the pet trade on wildlife, ethical pet care of "exotic" species with a focus on reptiles, amphibians, and other imported wildlife.
