Classroom Lessons

School Counselors in the Classroom

School counselors will visit each classroom on their caseload for a 30-45 minute whole group lesson monthly or bi-monthly. Be on the lookout for a parent letter that will come home with your child after each lesson. The letter will include ways you can incorporate skills taught at home!

As a class, we explore and discuss topics such as:

Friendship skills

Conflict resolution

Emotion regulation/coping skills

Self-esteem

Growth mindset

Personal safety

Bullying prevention
