Meet Your School Librarian
Hey, Huskies, I'm Mrs. Jorgenson! It's an honor and privilege to get to work with you each day.
This is my third year at CSMS and my eighth year as a school librarian. I previously served as librarian at Airport High School and Jefferson City (Mo.) High School. Before becoming a librarian, I was an editor and budget analyst for the state of Missouri.
I have earned a bachelor's degree in professional writing, a master's degree in library science and information services, and an education specialist degree in human services: learning resources. I am currently working toward a doctor of education degree in educational practice and innovation with a concentration in curriculum studies. As a school librarian, I am certified as a professional educator by the South Carolina State Board of Education.
When I'm not at school, you can find me hanging out with my family, reading books, and watching sports, especially football.
