HELLO AVIATOR FAMILIES!

I’m very happy to work at Centerville Elementary School. My name is Lucy Ortiz, Family Liaison and Title I Project Specialist. I love my job because I have the opportunity to serve as a communication bridge between school, families, and community. I can provide information and support to help ensure your child's academic, social, and emotional success through family, school, and community partnerships.

CES Family Engagement FY-26 Action Plan

GENERAL INFORMATION

7:00 a.m. School Doors Open.

7:30 a.m. School Start Time. (Students are expected to be in class by this time.

❏ Please arrive early enough to allow your child travel time to his/her classroom).

1:50 p.m. No early dismissals after this time.

❏ Please have your photo ID available for verification when picking your student up early.

2:20 p.m. School Dismissal.

❏ Breakfast is free for all students. Breakfast is served daily in the classrooms from 7:15 am until 7:30 am.

7:30 a.m. Tardy bell rings.

❏ When your student is tardy, you must walk them to the office to get a tardy pass.

❏ Excuses must be turned in to school.

❏ Click here to submit a Parent Note, Medical Excuse, and/or Obituary.

❏ Continue to send excuses with your students to the school.

❏ You can send a parent note, email, or call the front office on the day of the change.

❏ Please include the student's full name, teacher's name, and the way home.

STUDENT SERVICES

From the Nurse

❏ If your child is ill, please keep them home.

❏ Students must be fever-free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school.

❏ If your student must take any medication at school, you should get a medical order from your healthcare provider for that medication. Please click here to print this form.

❏ Only parents can bring medications to school. Please do NOT send medications to school with the students.
