The Levittown Literacy Initiative’s monthly activity for January was "First Look Friday." "First Look Friday" provided students with a sneak-peak of a book to entice them to want to finish it. It was a simple and fun way to get students excited about reading, while introducing books that students may not have otherwise picked up to read. Over the course of the month, Ms. Kelly, our Director of Elementary Education, read several books to further encourage a love of reading within our students!

The Boy, the Troll, and the Chalk
