September: Nobody Hugs a Cactus

Hank is the prickliest cactus in the entire world. He sits in a pot in a window that faces the empty desert, which is just how he likes it. So, when all manner of creatures—from tumbleweed to lizard to owl—come to disturb his peace, Hank is annoyed.
He doesn’t like noise, he doesn’t like rowdiness, and definitely does not like hugs.
But the thing is, no one is offering one. Who would want to hug a plant so mean? Hank is beginning to discover that being alone can be, well, lonely.
So he comes up with a plan to get the one thing he thought he would never need: a hug from a friend.
October: Millie Fleur Saves the Night

Garden Glen was afraid of the dark.
Each night when the sun went down, all the lights in town turned on. The houses shone like the noon sun. Every house except for Millie Fleur La Fae's, of course.
Millie Fleur knows there are enchanting things that can only be glimpsed in the dark. But ever since she moved to Garden Glen, her nighttime friends are nowhere to be found.
Determined to welcome the dark back to town, Millie Fleur bakes delicious moon pies and plants a sweet-smelling moon garden. But before the nighttime creatures will return, Millie Fleur must convince the townspeople to be brave and turn out the lights.
November: The Littlest Drop

February: Do You See the Tiger?

One rainy night, Penny and her daddy take an underground train packed with passengers. As they stand in the crowded car, Penny can’t believe what she’s seeing. A tiger’s tail? A tiger’s paw! No, that’s just a person with a striped glove, assures Daddy. But when they find a seat and Penny has a clearer view, there’s no mistaking the tiger’s foot poking out from under a pant leg. And when this extraordinary tiger makes a sudden, marvelous leap across the floor to rescue a baby’s fallen teddy, Penny can’t help but join in the action!
April: The Duck Who Didn't Like Water

May: Jump for Joy
