The Parents Association at Letterkenny Educate Together National School provides a voice for parents within the school community and enables them to actively participate in the development and life of the school.
All parents of the school are automatically members of the Parents Association. While not all parents need to be involved in the day-to-day organisation of activities, this work is carried out by the Parents’ Association Committee (PAC).
The role of the PAC is to plan for the future and develop a shared vision for the Parents Association; to plan and manage the annual programme of activities; to communicate and consult with the Principal and the Board of Management; to involve as many parents as possible; and to manage the Parents Association’s finances.
The mission of the Parents Association is to enrich the lives of parents and students of Letterkenny Educate Together National School by promoting a strong sense of community. We aim to involve all parents in creating an inclusive, inspiring and fun learning environment for their children.
