We use Orton-Gillingham Approach methods, which are language-based, multisensory, organized, sequential, cumulative, and cognitive, to help struggling readers succeed as much as possible.
This course serves as a reading intervention program for students with learning disabilities, such as ADHD, autism, reading anxiety, and English language learners. The building and repair of strong reading foundations is the main focus of this course. Students will engage in evidence-based reading strategies such as CVC words, digraph and trigraph practice, short and long vowel practice, and blending exercises. Additionally, students will take part in specially created presentations that are interesting and pique their interest in the subject. It has been proven that my approach to assisting struggling readers in improving their reading skills is quite effective.
