I am the 7th/8th Math, 7th English, Mass Media, Algebra 1A and 1B teacher. I have 26 years of experience in education. I tutor students after school with homework and also help create the yearbook each year.
I am originally from a small town in Iowa and got my teaching degree from The University of Iowa. I have been married to my husband, Derek, for 21 years. I have four children that are all Wildcats. Brady graduated in 2024 and is currently attending State Tech. Last year, Hallie graduated and is now attending John A. Logan College. Cooper is a freshman this year and Jack is in seventh grade.
My Hobbies include playing board games, reading in my hammock, kayaking a lazy river, playing pickleball in our driveway, and watching movies.Â
