HIGH ASHURST RESIDENTIAL 2024

Date:  Monday 1st July  - Wednesday 3rd July 2024

We are very excited to announce that Brookfield have worked with LEO Academy Trust to organise a residential trip to High Ashurst  from 1st July - 3rd July for our Year 4 pupils.  We are very fortunate to have secured a booking as it is an extremely popular venue with school groups. We would like to offer the opportunity for your child to take part in this trip.

The cost of the trip will be £180, this includes accommodation, full board, insurance and a full programme of activities. To keep the cost affordable for our families, LEO Academy Trust will be funding the cost of travel to and from the destination.

We  feel it is  important that all our pupils have access to the wider opportunities offered by our Trust. If you are experiencing any financial difficulties  please  contact your child’s teacher or if you prefer the school office. Any communication will be held in strict confidence.

You can find out more about our residential trip to High Ashurst through our online presentation:

Year 4 - High Ashurst, Box Hill

Residential trips organised by the school are, of course, an optional but invaluable part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially and we feel certain that the trip we have chosen this year will prove to be both enjoyable and very worthwhile.

There will be a meeting arranged for the parents to discuss your child being away from home and the exciting range of activities which will be available for them. There will also be another meeting closer to the trip with more detailed information about packing/timings etc.

In order to help you spread the cost of this trip, please see below some suggested payment plans, on which there is an initial non-refundable deposit of £30. It is your responsibility to ensure the trip is fully paid by 31st May 2024. Arbor will not prompt you for a monthly payment so please set a reminder to make this payment. Arbor allows you to pay the outstanding balance or additional payments at any time.

The suggested payment plan options for your child’s residential trip are:

a) £30 deposit in September 2023, then 8 monthly payments of £18.75 from October 2023 until May 2024.

b) £30 deposit in September 2023, then 6 monthly payments of £25 from October 2023 to March 2024.

In March 2024 we will ask you to confirm that you still would like your child to attend. If your child no longer wishes to attend you will lose your non refundable deposit of £30. After this time we need to make you aware of the cancellation policy and charges which are as follows:

TRIP PAYMENTS

Payment for all trips can be made on Arbor, you will find them under the Trips section of your child's account. It is your responsibility to ensure that trips are fully paid before the deadline for that trip. Arbor will not prompt you to make payments, but the School Office will send out payment reminders.
