Learning Together, Growing Together

Rainbows of Hope!

As we are no longer able to all come together as a school community, we thought it would be a lovely idea for us to show we are still a family by creating rainbows to put in our windows.

This way, whenever anyone sees one, they will know that we are all still thinking of each other. If you do go out on any walks - see how many you can spot.

You could even turn it into a game of eye spy!

Don't forget to send in any pictures so we can tweet and let everyone know we care. Remember, we are still here for each other.

You can contact the school using the distance learning email addresses (see below) or the school office email: cfoffice@leoacademytrust.co.uk

Keep safe and strong.

Top Tips!

National Trust Gardens

The National Trust has announced it will open its gardens and parklands for free during the Coronavirus outbreak.

That's in response to government advice asking people to social distance - avoiding non-essential contact with others and stopping unnecessary travel.

Bring Out The Best In Your Boy Parent Workshop

This workshop is going to be rearranged to a later date. We will be in touch when we know more about when this will happen.

Keeping Safe

In our goodbye assembly, we reminded children about the importance of them being safe while working and playing online. We have also shared with them who they can contact should they feel worried at any time while school is closed. This information is on every page of the distance learning website. There is also a button where they can fill out a google form if they have a worry.

Please remember during this time to be vigilant while your child is online and remind them of how to be safe while they are online.

If you have any concerns regarding the safety of any pupil, you have a duty of care to report it to MASH (multi-agency safeguarding hub) on 0208 770 6001.

Sutton Primay Schools Cycling Championships

Cheam Fields entered a team of 12 riders into the Sutton Primary Schools Cycling Championships on Wednesday 11th March. Although the rain held off, the competitors had to contend with a blustery wind.

Each team member had to complete a Skills Test, a Road Safety Quiz, and a Cross-Country Mountain Bike race. The winners were presented with their prizes by the Mayor of the London Borough of Sutton, Cllr Muhammad Sadiq.

Huge congratulations to Cheam Fields who won the Moore Cup (for Skills and Road Safety Quiz).

As always, the children showed great team spirit and endless enthusiasm throughout the whole afternoon.

We are very proud of you all!
