We are very excited to announce that we are working towards achieving the Artsmark Award in partnership with The Arts Council.
Over the next year we will be working hard to improve the already great range of arts we offer the children at Cheam Fields and really ensure that the children here see art as something for everyone!
This is not just a journey for the staff and children, we would love to have you on board too! If you have or know anyone who could come and help us expand the range of art opportunities from choirs, special effects make up, dance, drama or anything that you think the children would enjoy please let us know!
Keep an eye out for the wonderful Art coming up!
This week we have been finding out more about the festival of Diwali.
In Jade, Harieth told the class a little bit about the festival of Diwali. He shared how he celebrates it with his family and the importance of the festival to him. They then created acrostic poems linked the story of Diwali.
In Year 2, children created Ragoli designs and made lanterns.
The Cheam Field's Pride group have been busy thinking about how they have shown PRIDE during the first half term.
