On Friday 3rd February, we will be celebrating NSPCC Number Day. As well as completing various different activities in school, children are invited to come to school in their best Maths-themed outfit! They could dress as their favourite mathematician, wear a number-related T-shirt, dress up as a mathematical tool - the options are endless!
If you are able to, you can donate to our JustGiving page here. Alternatively, children can bring in £1 on the day. Please note that donations are optional!
On Monday 30th January, Miss Holloway is holding two parent meetings regarding the Year 5 Devon Residential. The first will be at 9am and the second will be at 2:45pm. If you would like to attend, please fill out this short form. This will help us to cater for the number of attendees. An email reminder will be sent closer to the time.

Young Carers at Cheam Common
At Cheam Common Junior Academy, we hold a weekly small group session to support children across the school who fulfil the role of ‘Young Carer’ because they have a sibling or parent with serious health issues, special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
We want to celebrate the important role our Young Carers play, but also recognise that they may face challenges and pressures not shared by the general school population.
The group meets during assembly time and is led by Mrs Hart.
If you would like your child to take part please complete this form.
If you have any questions about the group, please feel free to contact us at ccjsend@leoacademytrust.co.uk
