How to Join

As no special equipment is necessary to join chorus, all you need to do as a new student (or the parent of one) is fill out the form linked below. Mrs. Williams will contact you with more information as needed.

Students interested in joining the band need to procure an instrument, along with the equipment that goes with it (reeds, valve oil, cork grease, etc.). Information on how to obtain all of this is contained in the Parent Information Letter, linked below. Since students are most likely not going to be able to witness an in-person instrument demonstration to help them choose what they would like to play, they can view the Instrument Demonstration Video. More instruments are demonstrated in the video than are available to beginning players. The choices for beginners are:

• Flute

• Clarinet

• Alto Saxophone

• Trumpet

• Trombone

• Percussion (bells and snare drum)

We had a Band interest meeting on Zoom to answer various rental questions. I can send you a link to the recording if you'd like to see it.

Please note that money concerns should not prevent a child from joining band. Contact Mrs. Williams so we can discuss our options.
