LJA Distance Learning

Welcome to LJA's Distance Learning Website

Here you can find information about your child's continued learning while campus is closed

This website is used as a tool to support communications and ensure greater consistency between the face-to-face learning that takes place at LJA and continued distance learning until we're back together on our beautiful campus.

Thanks go to American School in Japan for informing the development of LJA's distance learning platform.

Introduction

The intent of our LJA Distance Learning website is to serve as a central channel for all distance learning resources in the event of an extended campus closure. It aims to provide a framework for distance learning specific to each school division and their unique needs. This site will serve as your portal to learning in lieu of campus instruction as our School continues to navigate the potential impacts of COVID-19 through April 30th and possibly beyond. This is a dynamic process in which we anticipate continued refinement over time, and through which we welcome continuous feedback from both parents and students in the weeks ahead.

Distance Learning Timeline: Junior and Lower Schools follow a Monday-Friday schedule with Friday being a Flex Day. Middle and High Schools following a JARDX schedule with Friday being the "X" or flex day.
