Level 1 Access Courses :
These short courses are for people who are totally new to this area of work and may want to find out if it is the right career move for them. Additionally, those with some existing knowledge, who may not have been out of education or training for a long time, will benefit from the re-introduction into part-time study before committing to longer and more intensive courses.
Level 1 ‘Access’ courses are offered in the following subject areas: Business Skills, Bookkeeping, Accounting Software. You are free to take one or a combination of all three to fill any gaps and build a solid foundation from which to move onto level 2 qualifications with ease.

*Exciting news! - From April 2021 the Government has created a ‘National skills fund’ for certain level 3 courses in subjects which can lead onto higher salaried jobs, to all adults who do not already have a level 3 (or higher) qualification. This will mean that many more people will not have to pay a fee nor take out an advanced learner loan for a level 3 AAT qualification.
