The Lehigh University Rocketry Association (LURA), National Association of Rocketry charter section #971, is a pioneering student organization at Lehigh University, dedicated to providing a comprehensive experience in the design, construction, and launch of high-powered rockets for enthusiasts of all backgrounds. Emphasizing practical, hands-on learning within STEM disciplines, LURA offers members a unique opportunity to delve into the complexities of rocket science, from theoretical design principles to the tangible challenges of building and safely launching rockets. Open to students from all fields, the association fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and perseverance, preparing members for future endeavors in aerospace or any field requiring complex problem-solving skills. Design

LURA uses computer design and simulation software's to analysis and design our rockets. We uses software's such as SolidWorks, OpenRocket and RASAero II

Build

We utilize manufacturing techniques such as 3D Printing, Machining, Joining, Forming and Finishing

Launch

After designing and building we plan and prepare for launch
