"How important is parent involvement in their child's education?

Ongoing research shows that family engagement in schools improves student achievement, reduces absenteeism, and restores parents' confidence in their children's education. Students with involved parents or other caregivers earn higher grades and test scores, have better social skills, and show improved behavior."

The Parents Counselling Day took place on the 18th June 2019. Our Parents organized a trip for us and our families to Modlin Fortress (Twierdza Modlin). The Fortress is located in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki on the Narew river, not far from Legionowo. It was constructed by the French in the years 1806–1812 and it is the longest building in Europe - 2,250 meters in length.

It was a fantastic day, a little bit tiring but spent with great people :) The sun was shining and mosquitos were biting :) We had fun and fortunatelly mosquito sprays :)

The day spent with our FAMILIES is something worth continuing. We hope we will have opportunity to meet again :)

A CLASS TRIP

27th - 29th May 2019

On the first day of our class trip we went to the National Park - Ojcowski Park Narodowy. We visited the castle on Pieskowa Skała and the castle's courtyard. Then we walked past the Hercule's bludgeon (Maczuga Herkulesa) and we made a class picture next to it, that you can see below. After that we went to the Łokietek's cave. While walking we saw the Source of Love and Cracow's Gate. While hiking we were admiring some picturesque views. Next, we saw the Chapel on Water and finally, we got to our hotel were we could rest and relax.

On the second day of our trip we climbed the Trzy Korony mountain which is 982 m high. It was windy and rainy but the views were spectacular. Later we went for lunch to Czorsztyn. Next, we went to the Niedzica Hydro Power Station. We saw Niedzica's dam. We also sailed on a boat. Later we went to the Czorsztyn Castle and in the evening, we could relax and have fun durning the disco, which was organised in our hotel. The disco was great. We will remember it forever!

On the third day of the trip we woke up at 7.30 a.m, had breakfast and visited Myślenice. It was raining but we took the chairlift to the Chełm Mountain. We were wet but satisfied and happy. In the hotel we changed our clothes and had some delicious dinner with hot tea. After that we packed our bags and went back to Legionowo. We travelled for a long time and finally we arrived home. Our parents were waiting for us and we happy to see them and glad that we could tell them about our adventures.
