Ricky by Parker Mageropoulos, Class of 2026

Ricky

Ricky I
by Fourth Period and Arthur Ignatious

In sewers, deep where darkness ensnares,

I'm Ricky, a jester of twisted dares, snares, yeah.

That Clown's mask hides horrors, others, and laughs

That smother.

But the red balloons float high, pop and mock to

Silence the dirty jokes that bomb and chill the air

Yet Pennywise grins while

In horror's grip, I'll forever roam,

As Ricky, the saucy boy with fear as home.

OR

Ricky II
by Emily French, Class of 2024

Ricky is a boy with a past

Haunted by memories that would forever outlast

His mental struggles now, so heavy and deep

A burden he carried behind a weepless smile.

As he faced horrors he fought with might

Darkness consumed him as he fought the fight

Even though his struggles were too great, his pain too deep

He never fell victim to the darkness

Content forever in dead sleep.
